Since first becoming a professional hypnotist over two decades ago, John Bridges has worked successfully with thousands of hypnotherapy clients, often to help them overcome some of the most serious and life-changing issues. During that time, he has also established a powerful reputation across the U.S. and Canada for his expertise and knowledge of advanced communication and the workings of the unconscious mind. He has trained over 6,000 people during the course of his career, including doctors, psychologists, business leaders, and other hypnotherapists. John has been featured in several media articles and interviews, and has given keynote addresses on the topics of hypnosis and hypnotherapy at several universities. Lastly, John is not only highly-respected for his expertise in the field of hypnosis, but also in the business community for his professional integrity. In 2010, he was appointed by a special executive committee to design and deliver business ethics training for seven Fortune 500 companies.

Certified Hypnotherapist (CH), The Leidecker Institute for Hypnotherapy Training, 2001. The Leidecker Institute is considered one of the top schools for hypnotherapy training on the planet and in 2001 was one of the only officially state-licensed schools for hypnotherapy training in the U.S. John was directly mentored by Arthur Leidecker, the school’s founder.

Board Certified Consulting Hypnotist (BCH), The National Guild of Hypnotists, 2023. Board Certification is the highest level of professional certification available through the National Guild of Hypnotists. Of the over 36,000 members of the National Guild around the world, approximately 500 of them currently hold this distinction.

Certified Hypnosis Instructor (CI), The National Guild of Hypnotists, 2023. Only highly-experienced hypnotists with a proven track record of ethical practice are allowed by the National Guild to train and certify other hypnotists.

Certified Practitioner of Ericksonian Hypnosis (CPEH), The Washington School for Clinical & Advanced Hypnosis, 2002. The Washington School for Clinical & Advanced Hypnosis is operated by Dr. Shaun Brookehouse. Dr. Brookehouse is one of the most widely-respected hypnotherapists and trainers of NLP and Ericksonian hypnosis in the U.K.

Certified in Complementary Medical Hypnosis, Dr. C. Scott Giles and the National Guild of Hypnotists, 2003. Dr. Giles currently serves on the Advisory Board for Legal & Ethical Affairs for the NGH. He founded the first medically-approved, on-campus program for the hypnotic treatment of cancer in the U.S. He holds the rank of ‘Diplomate’ with the National Guild of Hypnotists, which is the highest rank a hypnotist can achieve, as well as the honor of being inducted into ‘The Order of the Braid’, the highest official honor a hypnotist can achieve in the world. Both Diplomate and Order of the Braid status are only awarded to individuals who demonstrate a lifelong commitment and contribution to the field of professional hypnotism.

Neuro-Linguistic Programming Practitioner, Midwest NLP, 2003. Midwest NLP was operated by Jim Accetta, one of the world's few Bandler-certified trainers in Neuro-Linguistic Programming.

Seminar Facilitator & Life Coach, Anthony Robbins & Associates, 2001. John was personally trained and mentored in life coaching and Neuro-Associative Conditioning techniques by Alan Brown, Tony Robbins’ top trainer in the U.S. at that time.

Author of ‘Verbal Magic’, 2009. This book centers on the use of advanced Neuro-Linguistic Programming language patterns in life coaching and personal change work. It has been sold and read in over 47 countries around the world.

We have also been privileged to help people achieve more common (fortunately!) goals such as, stop smoking, lose weight, overcome anxiety, and eliminate limiting beliefs. We are deeply committed to our work in hypnosis because we have personally witnessed its incredible power to transform and heal the lives of thousands of people.
